Industrial design mainly studies the principles and knowledge of design in industry, explores the relationship between the shape and color, form and appearance, structure and function, appearance and process of industrial products, and designs industrial products based on practicality and aesthetics.

Environmental engineering mainly studies the basic knowledge and skills in the protection and rational use of natural resources, improvement and prevention of environmental pollution, improvement of environmental quality, etc., and carries out Environmental engineering construction, environmental monitoring, pollution prevention, etc.

With the rapid development of science and technology and the continuous emergence of new products, people's lifestyles have undergone changes to a certain extent. With the emergence of these changes, resource and environmental issues have arisen, forcing people to pay attention to the resource consumption of products and the pollution they bring to the environment. Industrial design can improve humanized design, and reducing environmental pollution and energy consumption is also a goal of industrial design. Currently, industrial design has become the core of industrialized society, the fundamental demand of the public for practical value, closely related to human production and life, and an indispensable means of creating a good way of life and enhancing the quality of human life.

The 2023 International Academic Conference on Industrial Design and Environmental engineering (IDEE 2024) will be held in Zhengzhou on November 24-26, 2023. IDEE provides a platform for the promotion and exchange of industrial design and Environmental engineering. We are looking forward to your participation!

All accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings and will be submitted to EI Compendex / Scopus  for indexing.
