About MEA 2022

The 14th Five-Year Plan clearly points out that we should adhere to the core position of innovation in the overall situation of modernization, regard scientific and technological self-reliance and self-improvement as the strategic support for national development, face the world's scientific and technological frontiers, face the major needs of the country, and face the people's life and health, deeply implement the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, strengthening the country with talents, and drive development through innovation, improve the construction of the innovation system, and accelerate the construction of a scientific and technological power. At present, from a global perspective, science and technology have increasingly become the main force to promote economic and social development, and innovation is the trend of the times. A new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is nurturing and rising, some important scientific issues and key core technologies have shown the precursor of revolutionary breakthroughs, and the energy of reform and breakthroughs is constantly accumulating. In the fierce international competition, only innovators advance, only innovators are strong, and only innovators win. In some fields of science and technology, China is changing from "runner" to "peer", or even "leader". At the same time, we must also soberly see that compared with developed countries, the foundation of China's scientific and technological innovation is not yet solid, there is still a significant gap in the level of innovation, and in some fields the gap has not narrowed, but has a tendency to expand. Therefore, improving innovation capabilities and creating an innovation ecology are the top priorities for building an innovative country and a world science and technology power.

The International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Automation (MEA 2022), as a sub-venue of the 4th International Conference on Scientific and Technological Innovation, will be held in Guangzhou, China on December 9-11, 2022. The conference aims to provide a platform for experts, scholars, engineering and technical personnel, and technical research and development personnel engaged in "mechanical engineering and automation" to share scientific research results and cutting-edge technologies, understand academic development trends, broaden research ideas, strengthen academic research and discussion, and promote industrialization and cooperation of academic achievements. Experts and scholars from domestic and foreign universities, scientific research institutions, business people and other relevant personnel are invited to participate in the exchange

Call for Papers

2022 4th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Automation（MEA 2022）will bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from around the world.

Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:

Manuscripts passed the peer-review process by expert reviewers from the conference organizing committee will be accepted and published in the Conference Proceedings. The published papers will then be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for abstracting/indexing. 

Submission Guidelines

1.The submitted papers must not be previously published or currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

2.Please send the full paper(Word+pdf) to the conference Submission system

3.Please submit the full paper, if presentation and publication are both needed.

4.Please submit the abstract only, if you just want to make presentations.

1) Both Abstracts and Full Papers are welcomed. The author can make an oral presentation after the Abstract is accepted and the payment is made.

2) All submitted articles should report original results, experimental or theoretical, not previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. All articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtue of any academics. Hence, any act of plagiarism or other misconduct is totally unacceptable and cannot be tolerated.

Author's guide

2022 4th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Automation（MEA 2022） will be held on December 9-11, 2022 in Guangzhou, China. The following information about the schedule is for your reference.

* The above program is a brief outline. A more detailed programme will be emailed to you after the registration deadline. The actual conference schedule may be a little different according to the number of participants.

Instruction for Oral Presentations

1. Timing: A maximum of 15 minutes in total, including presentation and discussion. Please be considerable once the Program is completed the next speaker should also be allocated with reasonable amount of time.

2. For conference presentation, you can use your own computer or copy your presentation file into the conference computer from CD or USB drive, and make sure you have scanned and cleaned viruses beforehand. Speakers are required to meet her/his session Chair in the corresponding session room at least 10 minutes before the session starts to get things ready or copy the slide file (PPT or PDF) into the conference computer. 

3. It is also suggested that you email a copy of your presentation to your personal email box as a backup. If for some reason the files cannot be accessed from your flash drive, you can download them to the computer from your email. 

4. Please note that each session room will be equipped with an LCD projector, screen, laser pointer, microphone, and a laptop with general presentation software such as the Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Reader. Please make sure that your files are compatible and readable with our operation system by using commonly used fronts and symbols. If you plan to use your own computer, please test the connection and make sure it works well before your presentation. 

5. Movies: If your files contain movies please make sure that they are well formatted and connected to the main files.

Instructions for Poster Presentations

1. Maximum poster size is 59.4 CM wide by 84.1 CM high (A1). 

2. Posters are required to be optimized and attractive. Information should be visible from a proper distance, say, one meter away.

3. Please note that during your poster session, you as the author should stay by your poster and ready to explain and discuss your paper with visiting delegates.

Details of the attending registration

Join as Presenter: If you are interested in giving presentation on conference, without publishing your paper in the proceeding, you can choose to attend MEA 2022 as a Presenter. Join as Listener: MEA 2022 is an unmissable conference. It is a good chance and an effective platform to meet many renowned experts and researchers in the filed of latest academic research. You are welcome to attend this great event. You need to complete the registration as Listener before the registration deadline.




Details of the registration fees

1. Registration fees for MEA 2022 Regular is 550 USD / 3600 CNY per paper.

2. If the length of the paper exceeds 4 Pages, the cost of Each Extra Page (begin at Page 5) is 60 USD / 400 CNY.

3. Registration fees include conference proceedings, lunches, gifts and attending all technical sessions.

4. The registration fee does not include:  

   • Accommodation

   • Visa application fee

   • Transportation fee

5. At least one author for each accepted final paper must pre-register. 

6. Completed registrations will be acknowledged by the Organizing Committee within 2-5 workdays after receiving your payment.

7. If you cannot attend the conference due to some reasons, we will mail the proceedings and invoice to you. 

8. At least 20% of registration fee will be charged as the service fee if you retract your paper for personal reasons.
