About ETTS 2022

2022 International Conference on Energy Technology and Thermodynamic System (ETTS 2022) will be held in Dali, Yunnan, China on June 24-26, 2022. Themed on "Energy" and "Power," the conference covers energy-saving products, energy engineering, electrical power, automation engineering, etc., providing a high-level academic exchange platform that integrates enterprises, universities, and research institutes for pooling creative talents, boosting academic prosperity and drive innovation. It aims to promote the technological development of energy and power in China, strengthen collaborative innovation via the integration of scientific and technological resources, and provide strong support for economic and social development and the transformation and upgrading of industrial sectors. Academic pacesetters and industrial leaders from relevant scientific research fields in China and abroad will be invited to deliver speeches. Interactive activities such as group photos and interviews will be organized. The conference is held once a year. We warmly welcome experts, scholars, enterprisers and other associated personnel from worldwide universities and research institutions to participate in the conference. Let us all dedicates ourselves to facilitating scientific and technological innovation to achieve great progress in academic research!

Prof. Kai Wang, Qingdao University

Prof. Kai Wang graduate from Dalian University of Technology in College of Electrical Engineering. The applicant is employed as a member of the Component Professional Committee of the Chinese Power Supply Society and a member of the Shandong Electronic Ceramics Committee, a distinguished professor of the school, a dean of the electrical engineering department, a core member of the National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Intelligent Power Integration Technology of Electric Vehicles (Qingdao), Shandong Deputy Director of Provincial New Energy Automobile Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology Research Center, Deputy Director of Qingdao Intelligent Electrical Appliances and Intelligent System Engineering Laboratory, and master's supervisor. The first author of the applicant published an academic monograph-supercapacitors and their applications in energy storage systems (Machinery Industry Press, 2019, CIP (2019) No. 276376). Outstanding reviewer of the Proceedings of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering and Applied Energy in 2019. The applicant has published more than 20 SCI research papers, which have been cited more than 900 times, and 6 ESI highly cited papers.

Prof. Hui Pan, University of Macau

Dr. Hui Pan is a professor in the Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering, and the founding head of Department of Physics and Chemistry in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Macau. He got his PhD degree in Physics from the National University of Singapore in 2006. From 2006 to 2013, he worked at National University of Singapore as a Research Fellow, Oak Ridge National Laboratory (USA) as a Postdoctoral Fellow, and Institute of High Performance Computing (Singapore) as a Senior Scientist, respectively. He joined the University of Macau as an assistant professor in 2013. In his research, a combined computational and experimental method is used to design and fabricate novel nanomaterials for applications in energy conversion and storage (such as electro-/photo-catalysis, water splitting, N2/CO2 reduction, supercapacitors, hydrogen storage, solar cell, and fuel cells), electronic devices, spintronics, and quantum devices. He has published more than 240 papers in international peer-reviewed journals. The total citation is ~ 11000. Additionally, he is the author of 5 book chapters and the inventor of 4 USA and 6 China patents. His present h-index is 53.

A. Prof. Muhyiddine Jradi, University of Southern Denmark

Muhyiddine Jradi, PhD, is an Associate Professor in Energy Engineering and the leader of the Building Energy Modelling and Simulation Group at the Center of Energy Informatics at the University of Southern Denmark. He has a mechanical engineering background and received his PhD degree in Sustainable Building and Energy Technologies from the University of Nottingham, in 2014. Dr Jradi’s main research interests include energy efficient systems, building energy modelling and simulation, energy renovation, multi-generation systems, energy systems numerical modelling and simulation, renewable energy and energy storage. Dr Jradi is currently leading and taking part in multiple international research projects in collaboration with industrial partners and public parities with funding exceeding 4 million USD. In addition, he is serving as a member of multiple journal editorial boards and international conferences’ scientific committees. He has received multiple awards including the Dean of Engineering Research Scholarship for International Excellence from the University of Nottingham and the Sakkal Renewable Energy Award from the American University of Beirut. Dr Jradi research work has led to more than 150 academic publications in leading journals and international conferences.

A. Prof. Bin Guan, Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Bin Guan is the Associate Professor of The Institute of Advanced Energy and Powertrain Technology, School of Mechanical Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). He received Ph.D. degree and completed Post-doctoral research in Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and also completed Joint post-doctoral research in Southwest Research Institute (SwRI, Engine, Vehicle, and Emissions Division) in San Antonio, Texas, US. His research interests include Emission control of combustion pollutants, Non-thermal plasma technology, Synthesis of High Efficiency Nanocomposite Functional Materials, Advanced Energy Materials Design, Regulation, Applications, and Nanocatalysis, Energy Catalysis and Environmental Catalysis, and First Principles Density Functional Theory (DFT) Quantum Mechanics and Molecular Dynamics Simulations. He preside and participate in more than 40 scientific research projects. He has published more than 40 high level SCI papers that have been sited more than 1500 times, and two of which are ESI high cited papers and hot papers. He has eight national invention patents authorization. He won the second prize of Shanghai Technology Invention in 2017. He is the Member and Deputy Secretary-General of Aftertreatment Technology Branch of Chinese Society of Internal Combustion Engines and Member of China Environmental Protection Industry Association. He is the Evaluation Expert of Shanghai Science and Technology Award, and the Review Expert of National Natural Science Foundation Communication. He is the Editorial Board Member of SCI journal Energies. He also serve as a reviewer for several international academic journals, such as Proceedings of the Combustion Institute, Environmental Science & Technology, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Physical Chemistry C, Aerosol and Air Quality Research, Applied Energy, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, Chemical Engineering Science, Journal of Environmental Management, Applied Thermal Engineering, Fuel, Energy, Energy & Fuels, et al.

ETTS 2022 welcomes original and unpubliahed manuscripts. All manuscripts invited or contributed, will be reviewed by two or three experts from the committees. After a careful reviewing process, manuscripts should be submitted to Energy Reports(ISSN: 2352-4847) which are SCIE、EI Compendex-JA and Scopus indexed.
