All papers will be reviewed by two or three expert reviewers from the conference committees. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers  will be published in the Conference Proceedings, and submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

 About PIOE 2023 

In order to promote the progress and development of disciplines and industrial science and technology, the 2023 3rd International Conference on Precision Instruments and Optical Engineering will be held in shanghai, from August 25 to 27,2023. The conference will continually conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions on related topics such as "precision instruments", "intelligent instruments", "optical engineering" and "laser technology", aiming to provide a platform for scientific research scholars, technicians and related personnel engaged in related topics such as precision instruments and optical engineering to share scientific research achievements and cutting-edge technologies, understand academic development trends, broaden research ideas, strengthen academic research and discussion, and promote cooperation in industrialization of academic achievements. Experts, scholars, business people and other relevant personnel from universities and research institutions at home and abroad are cordially invited to attend and exchange.

The organizing committee invited a few accomplished experts in related research areas to give keynote speeches at the conference. All participants have chance to discuss with the experts face to face, which will be definitely helpful for the participants to improve their study and research in the future. We warmly welcome the prospective authors who are interested in the fields to submit their up-to-date and original research papers to the PIOE 2023 Organizing Committee so as to share their valuable experience with the leading researchers, scholars as well as experts of the fields around the world.

Prof. Mario F. S. Ferreira

University of Aveiro, Portugal (IEEE Member)

Experience: Mário F. S. Ferreira received the Ph.D. degree in Physics in 1992 from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, where he is now a Professor at the Physics Department. He is a Member of IEEE, a Senior Member and a Travelling Lecturer of both of the Optical Society of America (OSA) and SPIE - The International Society for Optical Engineering. Prof. Ferreira served in various committees of OSA and of SPIE, as well as in the organizing and scientific committees of various international conferences. He is also the leader of the Optics and Optoelectronics Group of the I3N – Institute of Nanostructures, Nanomodelling and Nanofabrication. he serves as an Associate Editor or as an Advisor Board Member of several international journals in the area of optics and photonics. He has written about 400 scientific journal and conference publications, and several influential books, such as “Optics and Photonics” (Lidel, 2003, in Portuguese) and “Topics of Mathematical Physics” (Editora Ciência Moderna, 2018, Brazil, in Portuguese).

Prof. Bo Wang

Department of Precision instrument, Tsinghua University, China

Experience: Bo Wang is currently associate professor in the department of precision instrument, Tsinghua University. He was postdoctoral fellow at the Max Plank institute of optics from 2007-2010. His main research areas include precision measurement of time and frequency, time and space frequency synchronization and application. Prof. Wang is in charge of several national key projects.

Prof. Xiaoguang Zhao

Department of Precision instrument, Tsinghua University, China (IEEE Member)

Experience: Xiaoguang Zhao (Member, IEEE) received the M.E. degree in precision instrument from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from Boston University, Boston, MA, USA, in 2016.,From 2016 to 2021, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher and then a Research Assistant Professor with Boston University. Since 2021, he has been an Associate Professor with the Department of Precision Instrument, Tsinghua University. His research interests include microelectromechanical systems design and fabrication, RF communications, and terahertz and infrared metamaterial devices.

Prof. Yang Yue

School of Information and Communication Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China (IEEE Senior Member)

Experience: Prof. Yue received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and optics from Nankai University, China, in 2004 and 2007, respectively. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, in 2012. He is a Professor with the School of Information and Communications Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China. Dr. Yue’s current research interests include intelligent photonics, optical communications and networking, optical interconnect, detection, imaging and display technology, integrated photonics, free-space and fiber optics. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed journal papers (including Science) and conference proceedings with >9,000 citations, four edited books, >50 issued or pending patents, >100 invited presentations (including 1 tutorial, >10 plenary and >30 keynote talks). Dr. Yue is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access, and an Editor Board Member for three other scientific journals. He also served as Guest Editor for ten journal special issues, Chair or Committee Member for >80 international conferences, Reviewer for >60 prestigious journals.

1)Both Abstract and Full Paper are welcomed. The author can make an oral presentation after the Abstract is accepted and the payment is finished.

2)All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
