Introduction

The 8^th International Conference on Sustainable Manufacturing (ICSM 2024) will be held from October 30^th to November 1^st, 2024 in Shanghai, China. as a joint project hosted by Tongji University and wbk Institute of Production Science. The conference aims to bring together researchers, scholars, industrial experts in the field of sustainable manufacturing from all over the world to discuss the latest research results, technological innovations, and challenges and opportunities, and to promote the exchange and integration of theories and practices of sustainable manufacturing. ICSM 2024 will cover all aspects of sustainable manufacturing, including but not limited to “New Energy Vehicle Production”, ”Production Robotics”, ”Software-defined Manufacturing” and other related fields. The conference will provide a platform for in-depth exchanges through keynote presentations, company demonstrations, academic visits and other forms.

We sincerely invite individuals and organizations from all over the world who are interested in sustainable manufacturing to attend the conference, share the latest research results, explore future possibilities, and jointly promote the development of global sustainable manufacturing. Publication

All papers will be reviewed by two or three expert reviewers from the conference committees. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers will be published in Springer-Lecture Notes in Production Engineering (Electronic ISSN: 2194-0533; Print ISSN: 2194-0525), and submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Instructions for Submission:

① The paper must be an English manuscript, and the paper should have academic or practical value, which has not been published in domestic and foreign academic journals or conferences. The author who publishes the paper needs to submit the full text for peer review, and the author who only reports and does not publish the paper only needs to submit the abstract.

② Authors can check duplicates at their own expense through CrossCheck, Turnitin or other query systems, otherwise the author will be responsible for the rejected manuscripts caused by the repetition rate of the article. The papers suspected of plagiarism will not be published and published on the conference homepage.

③ The papers should be typed according to the template of the official website of the conference. The paper template can be downloaded from the [ conference materials ], not less than 6 pages. Only accept English submissions. If you need Chinese translation services, you can consult the teachers of the conference group.

④An accepted paper will receive a copy of the conference proceedings after publication, and there is a service to purchase additional proceedings for a fee.

**Note: A 30% handling fee will be deducted if a paper accepted and registered is withdrawn; once the paper is uploaded to the publisher, no refund or withdrawal will be accepted.

1.Oral speech : apply for an oral report, need to prepare 10-15 minutes of PPT presentation; 

2.Poster display : apply for poster display, need to prepare A1 vertical version poster, color printing;
